4loko = fermented goat piss mixed with kool-aid, designed to get under-aged girls drunk enough not to remember having sex with you.
don't think i'll miss it...
the integra 't bracket' transmission mount is too long, you need si, or maybe del sol b16 't bracket'(for ek, not eg)
also 'ek' shift linkage is shorter than (92-95 civic/94-01 integra)
your ex engine harness will have some extra plugs that aren't used for obd1 (knock sensor) and vtec wires...
the vitaras sit 'loose' in the honda 75mm bore, because of tolerances being different between suzuki and honda.
the teflon coated ycp vitaras fit more 'snugly' and eliminate piston slap.
another alternative is to get 75.5mm vitaras and have a machine shop bore your block to the appropriate ptw...
the d15b2 head, as long as it doesn't have the mechanical fuel pump (by cyl #4) will work with your d16a6 block and d16a1 pistons.
use the cam from the d16a6 head and a d16z6 intake manifold (ez to find) for more power.
1--> yes. you may want to use your y7 intake and exhaust manifolds. they suck, but they have the sensors you ecu will want to work with.
2-->out with the old, in with the new. the heads are the same, and the blocks are very similar. many importers recommend them for replacing the y7
the main difference between a6 and z6 blocks is the oil jet you remove to put on a vtec head.
a6 has one, z6 does not.
and you will want a td41u (d15b7) distributor not the td42u (d16z6) for the a6 head.
also a6 head on z6 block with z6 pistons will have a pretty low c/r
for these reasons you...
sounds like someone wanted to 'close the deal'
the parts will bolt together but they won't work very well together.
for sure the distributor and ecu, i used my z6 intake manifold but had to cut and splice some sensor connectors.
a y8 manual harness and a y8 manual intake manifold (96-98 EX)...
that is the vtec solenoid.
d16z6 is obd1, and 97 civics are obd2a so it isn't 'cut and dry'.
after doing this swap myself, i recommend using a y8/manual engine harness and a y8/manual intake manifold w/sensors & throttlebody & injectors, p28 ecu
also, an obd2a/1 conversion harness...
if your motor is stock, just get a chip that emulates the ecu you should be running, (like a p30?) and plug it into your socket. xenocron.com sells them.
also if you have an eprom burner you could download the p30.bin file an burn it yourself.
