do a b18b,why? Because you can reuse youre stock wiring harness(obd1 b18b) on b18a thats means : obd1 to obdo conversion(not legal) or rewire all the sensors to fit the obd1 harness right in the car.

but yes d16a1 will fit you will have to port match the manifold with your head to take full advantage of it

d16z6 or d16y8 manifold are better

are you constant speed at 4000rpm if so this is probally youre EGR valve that is stuck open (often due to some deposit in the valve itself). you can try to look at it and see if any carbon stuff are stuck in and clean it. plus it dosen't cost anything.
