i just put in an h23 in an ek this week and will be dropin the h22 head in a month or so.... u gain over the h22.... and its just that much cooler. im ntot shure abut any issues but i would recomend it. when do u plan on doing this swap?

i would say bust your ass and do a h22 or h23 vtec swap i just finished one yester day on an ek. and i think its one of the best motors to buy..... their is more than enough power for your civic. the swap isnt that hard... just a lot harder than a b series. or k swap but that is EXPESINVE

i spun a rod bearing in my b18a1... and it was totaly garbage... the crank will need to be re polished. the rod is fine bc the bearng dosnt spin on it. but a short block will be good for you unless you will want to spend the monie on a new crank,,,,then u mine as whell get some eagle rods...
