It's a 1982 Honda Civic GL 1500 with a carbureted motor. I'm trying to find out what motor is in it because to the best of my knowledge the 3 barrel carb and 12 valve head weren't offered until at least 1984

Any idea on year would be helpful also as supposedly the motor is original.

Found another number in the circled spot in the picture. EM-1731097 Does this number help?

I have an 82 civic. The sticker on the hood says the motor is a 1.5. It's not a cvcc car. I'm changing to a weber carb. According to the parts lists I can find it's listed as 197x-1983 1.2 and 1.5, 8 valve non cvcc being the only application for it. Here's the problem, the motor has the keihin...
