    Be sure to check if injectors are firing. The fuel pump primes for a few seconds and then it's waiting for a signal from either crank or cam position timer to tell it the engine is moving.     You should be able to convert the plugs but avoid that when possible. But you'd have to use obd1 injectors with obd1 harness.
