    Switches are clean and appear to be operating properly. I really thing that it has something to do with the radio wiring. Do you have any idea if thaere are any wires in the radio harness that could affect the light switch?

    Yes. The light still works if I switch it on manually....just not when the doors open

    I just bought a 1998 Civic LX. My problem is that the interior lights do not come on when I open the doors. The car has an aftermarket radio installed and the previous owner said that the lights stopped working after he had the radio installed. Is there a definite connection between the two...
