I have a 91 Honda Prelude SI and i cant find no other stock springs anywhere the only thing close to a prelude that i can find is a honda accord and a honda civic but i dont know if the springs off of those will fit right on my car or if they will be to big in diameter or to long or not big...

A friend of mine told me instead of buying coilovers that the cheapest way is to only cut about 1 or 2 coils off of my stock springs would this be safe and wise or a dumb idea
