well, I don't know what the gain would be, but I do know that the ZC has domed pistons. whereas the Si has flat tops. So you would get a higher compression, but I don't know how high.
I knew the motors where different. has anybody tried using the 90-91 ECU? Do you know that it won't work? I'm not trying to be a rude, I was just wondering if anybody knows that it won't work. just because ones a 1.6 and the others a 1.8 dosen't really mean anything. they both have about the...
just curious, why would the 90-91 integ ECU be bad? I've always wondered why nobody used it. the ZC and the LS motors arn't that different, power wise.
what are you looking for? body? performance? is it an Si? I have an 86 Si. I'm going to throw a cam and maybe some nitrous. it's just for fun. I'd really like to put a b16a in it soon.
yes you can, but the integ knuckles give you bad camber. I think it gives you positive camber, but I'm not sure. If you could get a set of 90-91civic EX knuckles. you would be set. everything from the civic to the integ is the same, except for the knuckles.
the dist. plugs on the DX harness don't match up to the ZC dist? the ZC probably uses the same ECU as the d16a6, which would cause it not to fit because the d16a6 has a larger round plug, I think. I don't know I've never seen a SOHC ZC and I'm trying to think back to when I did my ZC swap. I...
No, I don't think it makes that much. the Mr.gasket crate motor, "the beast" only makes around 220-250 allmotor. And that's got some of the best parts you can buy. although I do like the poor man's type-r idea. I'm building one for boost in an 88 Si
