Can I use a pr4 ecu from a 90 integra do the mpfi swap on my 88 dx, also can I use the injectors and resistor box from a b20a5 (89 prelude)? Is there anything special I need to consider since my car is an auto and the ecu is from a manual.
Yeah I second the main fuel realay, after they run for a few minutes it gets warm and wont restart, let it cool for a few minutes and it will start again. Replace it before it leaves you stranded!
Running the car richer will increase power (13:1 a/f as opposed to 16:1) , what I am not sure about is, will unplugging the O2 sensor and running off the fuel map actually make it richer or is it tuned fairly lean anyways? If you unplug the O2 sensor will it go into the same open loop mode as...
Thats a good idea, I also noticed there is a vacuum operated butterfly at the top of the throttle body, would it hurt to tie that open somehow, or take it out?
I have an 88 civic dx and was wondering if I could adjust the timing at the distributor for better performance, or will the ecu just compensate and move it back?

I have an 88 hatch that I am racing at an oval dirt track. The problem is I need to be in 1st gear all the time and the shifter will only let me shift down to second, also when I put it in drive as soon as I get over 28mph it wont let it shift down even if its floored. I am getting killed out...
