i"m not sure on the demensions of the slushbox auto tranny but it might be a tough fit, i"d swap in a five speed otherwise it'll be really slow. Yo might as well stick with a d-series 5spd it would smash and auto ls everyday
The rpm switch idea works but there is no saftey net with that setup ie. no low oil pressure vtec cutoff+ d16y oil pump= grenade. I'm not trying to flame your setup though. i would just recommend something a little more cookie cutter for this particular setup.
You could stay obd2 with a 5 speed ecu but you would need the obd2 wiring harness also. converting to obd1 with a jumper and a chipped p28, or p06(vtec enabled) would be easiest. The wiring is super easy. Getting it throught the firewall is the hardest part, lol.
Hey guys i have a jrsc for a b-series motor. Specifically will fit the b18c5 and b16 heads. It's not the complete kit it needs the tensioners and the alternator pulley. Her are the parts required from supercharger.com.
