    Diverging Diamond intersections

We've had this in Fort Wayne for 10 years. The Dupont Road Bridge over I69 was converted to a diverging diamond. Very efficient. Not confusing at all unless you were the type to draw outside the lines as a kid on purpose. Or just legally blind. Lane markings are very obviously drawn and left...

    Beer drama

After the plummet started I walked into the liquor store and bought a 24 pack of bud heavy for 15 bucks. I wish that would continue. I'm not a beer snob. I'll drink piss water for a cheap buzz.

    20 years of HondaSwap

He still have that? I think about that car a lot, especially when I was trying to pry my car door open this morning after the arctic blast froze it solid while trying not to snap the damn handle off.

    How's life?

Yeah I didn't post a whole lot aside from pushing the 3i over 100k miles last week. I sold the house to a flipper August 2021. They did some painting, repaired the flooding damage and sold it to someone. It cracks me up to drive by it because he repaired the small portion of the 20 year old...

    How's life?

Just stopping by while the kiddo is doing soccer practice. Things changed so much in the past two years for me. Flooded house & insurance wouldn't cover it so we had to dive into her dad's place for a year. Got engaged last Christmas. With the insane housing market I just decided to rent an...

The camera? It's hardwired. The key fob batteries are CR2032s. Also the TPMS sensors are internal battery.

    I don't have a car anymore

The camera is not a normal wear item but the remote batteries are. They're CR2032 batteries, find em for cheap anywhere and throw a couple in the jeep for safe keeping.

    I don't have a car anymore

Yup, that'll be covered under the powertrain warranty. It'll need to be looked at by an FCA certified mechanic and they'll determine which rockers lifters and or camshafts will need replaced. I'd also have them look at the oil filter housing. The 11-16 top mount cooler housings were prone to...

    Bought a car, again.

I've read the reviews on that 9 speed. VIN shows it does have it. Until I get the rim replaced it's not highway ready but I haven't had any issues shifting as of yet. Even so, I got the warranty on it.

    Bought a car, again.

All told it was a little over $7000. And yup, I'm at a Dodge parts counter now. Fairly easy consistent work, although we seem to be the most expensive dealer in the state and we lose a ton of sales for the most important items like ECUs and controllers because of it. Salary and commission based...

    Bought a car, again.

Found a fairly cheap new car with all the trimmings at work. It was was 3k off because the dealer is too cheap to fix a rim, employee discounts gave me another 1700 off. 2015 200S 127000 miles, 3.6l v6, with the paddle shifters, fwd, 4 door. Only problem I saw with it was the previous owner...

    What Wiper Blades?

We replace with valvoline brand or napa exact fit at the dealer. I usually just pick whatever one is cheaper for my cars.

I'm just not comfortable around gasoline fumes and the rust is so bad everywhere in that area of the truck.

It's probably just the filler neck that rotted further. I've got one already, and I think I'll just follow the advice to let someone with an ASE certification replace it. Not too keen on working around leaking fuel. Thanks, Jeff

    Project Sonoma

Couple of weeks ago I was picking up the kiddo from school and noticed the temp gauge climbing higher and higher. After one of my interviews it decided to overheat and I had to leave it for the night at a business (called the next day to let them know). Last week I found a radiator and got it...
