you can use any b series tranny, i recommend the b16 tranny

i would say just go b16, lsv is not real reliable, and is not the easiest thing to do, also the gsr would be harder to do then a b16 also and the b20 is only good if you do the crv motor. and i dont think your a douche i didnt know what one was haha i just googled it.

from what ive seen the b16 is the most used for this but im sure you could do the b18 but i would say check out hasport they probably have mounts to make this easier also

i plan on doing a swap mostly so my car will continue to be usable, but i do plan on rebuilding my current motor and then swapping the b18b head on if i go that way

the only other vtec is the b18c and im not looking to but that much into it yet, im in school so im looking cheap and i have read the b20 prelude motors are junk but the crv ones are nice but im just looking b16a or b18b for now cause i cant find a b18a

i would recomend building an obd1 engine so it can properly be tuned and run better then obd0 which cannot be tuned

just do a lot of looking online and try to teach yourself and ask more specific questions rather then how do i build an engine, but best of luck
