ok, cool bug i still need to know what the box next to the ecu runs. the harness is diffrent on the box next to the ecu, anyone know why. and thanks for the reply guys :worthy:

I have a 92 prelude with a h23. i just got a jdm h22a engine and ecu but wire harness is cut, what harness do i need to use? will and american version vtec prelude harness work and whats the other box next to the jdm ecu :unsure: thanks to anyone who replys

the valve works, i hear it clicking. when i gun it it makes the car run like if the engine is out of balance(when v-tec has to kick in it shakes) i'm going to manually jump the vtec will driving and see what happens :blink:

your best bet is to look for the rubber grommets like this other guy sayed. i heared someone tryed to drill a hole and f***ed up there heater core :lol:

thanks for the info. i put another ecu and still shows code 21. i'm having second thoughts about the wiring being right. i will see about getting another pin chart and wiring diagram to make sure it's all correct. the place that i got the engine supplied the info on how to wire it up, that only...

the computer been used is a pr3 and the engine is obd0 89' jdm. i rechecked the wiring to see if everything was tight and it is.

JUST FINISHED A B16A ENGINE SWAP ON A 89' CRX. IT STARTS FINE AND IDLES FINE BUT CUTS OUT AND BUCKS AT 3200 RPMS. I CAN NOT GET ANY CODES FROM THE ECU CAUSE THE LED LIGHT STAYS ON ALL THE TIME AND DOES NOT BLINK. I THINK IT MAY BE VTEC RELATED BUT CAN NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. IF ANYONE HAS RUN...
