So then, if I wanted to buy a new exhaust header for my car, the best option (regardless of price) would be to get a stainless steel header with the white thermo-wrap crap? Or might it actually be worthwhile to get a ceramic coated?

So, really, what you're saying is that Ceramic has a reduced amount of heat radiance, but it's more breakable, whereas true Stainless Steel is more durable, but gives off more heat.... I've heard a few times on this site of people complaining of stainless steel headers (once from DC Sports)...

I know this should go under a different forum, but I don't have the available rights to post it. What's the difference between Ceramic headers and Stainless Steel headers? I've heard that both do a good job, but i'm unclear. What're the pro's and cons?

Yeah, i'm very pleased with it. It's got a nice rumble to it, and goes well with the sound from my K&N Typhoon kit. Now I just need to finish the rest of the piping to open the throat.

Recently, for Xmas, my girlfriend bought me an Arospeed muffler for my 03 Civic Si. It's real nice, and has a 4" tip, but it has a built-in silencer. Is there any way to have the silencer removed?

Yeah, I read all that on their website. But it said to use the spray on the throttle body, and I'm not to sure about taking it apart. it's not for my car, but my g/f's van. I might just go do it, though, since it's a p.o.s.

How do you apply it to the throttle body? I've never done it before, and I'm thinking about using it on my g/f's car. It sputters while she drives, dies while sitting in idle, and can barely hold on most of the time.

The acceleration on the Si is sweet as hell. It takes no effort to get it up to 90, and the engine is very silent. I'm iffy about the chips, but I'd definetly put a header into it (4-2-1 prolly). But we'll see what my budget brings me.
