I agree with the other guys...head is most likely warped or cracked...if its just a slight warp, you can have the head shaved, or get yourself another one for a few hundred bucks...good luck

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. But even still, the entire swap for $1000? Even if it needs a re-build, thats not a bad deal.
