swap with the h22 everything is a direct fit no need to replace transmision as it bolts up easily only 2 wires to chase for the vtec to run very simple and no headaches. plug in your vtec ecu and your good to go .

check the distributor ,wires,and plugs sometimes moisture fouls them when sitting for a bit once the electricity flows through they dry up some and the stutter ceases till the next time it sits for a while , just something to try did you put a larger exaust on or stay stock

heres' a point... f22 rod shorter stroke same bore therefore less compression compaired to the h22 longer stroke same bore more compression if something is shorter less weight throwing crank balance off on what ever cylinder that lighter weight is on , exploding the crank later on down the road...
