hmm that's weird i been running my ws2 on hatches for over 3 years and havent had any hanger issues, and my motor has solid mounts.... i must have gotten lucky or something
not a bad plan..... as long as you build internals a b18 is a b18(given its not a type r block) and the ls b18's actually have a slightly longer stroke and of course the b16 head flows better
the honda specific ones work best since the head is so deep and has very little clearance most universal ones will not work correctly or easily without some sort of modification
those plugs should be fine, and im not sure about the lma's i never changed mine but i would assume it would go in the same way it comes out? And are you upgrading fuel at all, i know the stock injectors are real close to full duty at the stock specs
the h22 is not designed to sit correctly in a civic, del sols included, it sights cocked... but the b-series however is basically a direct swap and was designed for civic/integra chassis
there is like 3 vacuum lines, most should be self-contained on the engine.... although the JDM B16A that i got had a firewall mounted MAP sensor which i just kept my old map sensor and spliced a vacuum line to it... other than that, its realy only like 2-3 lines.... FPR and that kinda stuff...
ive had my swap for a couple years now and never used my tranny mount cuz mine broke.... honestly the three primary engine mounts are enough... i even race with it and have had no mount problems except shattering my JDM mounts haha
ive had a b16 for a while now but im throwing alot of smoke after my engine warms up and i rev past 4k..... im pretty sure mine is the head gasket, be it a bad seal due to the head studs..... but it basically comes down to what your burning, oil or coolant or both.... bets way to tell if it is...
