they are both obd2b. the plugs are the same. all three plugs together with one small plug empty on the end. is there something special i should do when switching ecus? number of ignition cycles or anything maybe my mechanic didnt do or didnt know to do?

also would this be causing the low rev limit of 6500. i know this motor should redline to like 8500 right? also since the jdm harness was too short because of right hand drive he used my us harness. was this wrong too?

Thats what i was thinking but wasnt sure. Do i buy a jumper harness or make one or what do i do there? Thank u so much man for ur reply. This helps so much.

I just put in a b16b civic typr r motor in my 2000 civic si. My mechanic said it had no power with the pct (type r ) ecu so he put my si ecu back in and it ran better. Its bottoming out at 7000 rpms and now there is a jerk happening when i let off the throttle or give it throttle. Its pretty...
