i am thinking of buying a project car and i want to take it to a shop to get it done faster. im doing a swap, shocks and and a window replace. dose anyone know of a good shop i should go to? i have most of the parts and a few $K cash for the work.
i have a 2000 civic si (em1) and i want to swap out the tranny and put in a s80 gsr tranny. Wondering do i need new shift linkage? If so what kind? And will i have to flash my computer? thanks
Im looking to buy a civic that im am told has a itr gsr tranny. so are they just like a gsr? do they have LSD? how can i find out what i am getting with out taking it apart?
do you think a repair will cost more than a full block sleaving? because i hear those are around $1000. is their anything you recommend in looking out (physically) for in a used sleeved block? i also paid big $ for some 85mm pistons’ and the block is 84.5mm ill still have to do some machining
so your saying i should use a integra ls crank and balence and blueprint it. and what do you think of buying used sleeved blocks? the one im looking at has spun rod berrings so i can get it cheeper
wondering if i can change my gsr into a 89mm stroke with a 85mm bore? and would it be ok to use my original crank (balanced and blue printed) with a 500hp turboed engine. thanks
thanks. i do plan on making a 2.0 and i already have 85mm pistons with a -11cc dish (looking for 8.5-1 i think) and ls H-beam rods but what kind of crank should i use?

my question is whats the better bottom end ? a gsr or a B20? im all about keeping it cool. i hear there are oil squirters in the gsr block that shoot oil at the under side of the piston to keep it cooler dose the B20 have the same things? if not wouldent that make the gsr the better engine to...
