the ecu was obd1 p75 integra ecu...how can u boost motor on obd2 ecu?

thats what we thought but we tried 2 known working ones and they both ran the car same...like ass :(

ok well when we run obd1 ecu we get no codes...on obd2 those are the codes we get that are listed. but the obd1 doesnt even look for those sensors so thats not the issue cuz if it was the obd1 would throw them codes or any codes.

cant be we've tried to other ones obd2b ecu runs it fine the car runs 100% on this obd2b ecu

yeah i put obd2a engine in it the engine harness is obd2b and the car is obd2b...we tried jumper to obd1 and it made it run like crap

Sup guys. We swapped a B18b from a 96 integra into buddies 2000 civic hatch. We used an EX (d16y8) harness. The motor is being run by a 2000 OBD2b B18b ecu, all I did was busted off the immobilizer chip, to enable it to run. Everything is well it runs pretty smooth, only issue is its...

hey man are u using d16y7 or y8 harness? also not sure why but we're kinda having the same issue...we swapped the b18b into my ek hatch and it threw few codes we worked them all out and now i got no cel but it wont rev over 3500... if u figure it out lmk

Update: we got ride of all engine codes...doesnt throw any but still runs the same...figured out it wont rev past 3500,so we think its in limp mode... any ideas guys?

yeah the evap purge plug isnt plugged in right now.. would that make a huge diffrence or no?

thanks got ride of all codes but iacv... still doesnt run good... wiring is all correct we triple checked it..we used the d16y8 harness because its plug and play no 3-2 wire conversion its a option alot of ppl use. its something weird cuz it runs good on the d16y7 ecu but not on the b18b1. the...

i know injectors are all firing due to when pull plug off when running it makes a diffrence so would make me believe its firing on all 4....but ill check it out...obd1 u dont need to plug in the ckf sensor.

dizzy good...timing isnt off on it due to it ran good in the integra never removed it when swapped...
