what if i just want to pick up some cheap springs to use until i burn out my stock struts??

im currently running my stock 13" rims and tires how much of a drop can i do where it looks good and i dont have to worry about any rubbing...will be on this drop for a while until i get some rims.....15-16" some advice would be great!
