Well I went ahead and removed rp17 resistor and it looked totally different than rp18 so for sure it looks like rp18 resistor was never there from factory. I also didn't use a jumper on 18.
It's in the car now code 19 is gone. :)
I'm looking at a P28 L50 which is an Auto so why when I open it up I don't see the RP18 Resistor? RP17 is there but no RP18. Will this unit have different instructions when converting to Manual?

I decided to do a B16 swap instead almost did a D16y8 I got that motor first but I'm selling it now. and got a great deal on a full B16 swap for nearly the same price from a friend of mine.
I got a D16y8 motor anyone know what that plug looking thing with a needle point sticking out it's right above and to the left of the oil pressure sensor . It's right underneath the metal coolant tube between cylinders 3&4.
It looks weird and I think there's supposed to be a plug on it or...
Sorry forgot to mention comes with Valve Cover but missing two smaller front bolts that hold it down.
and yes you can't see it but the vtec solenoid is there. :)
Can UI use headbolts from a D15 on a y8 motor?
I ask because I'm plan on getting a y8 head and block separate but the seller doesn't have the head bolts.
