    B18C1 swap into a 1999 EK Coupe

You can use your original driver and tranny mounts and you'll have to us the em1's t-bracket for the rear. I would go with a obd2a p72 or a obd1 p72/28 cause I believe the obd2b teg ecus have a code or some sort that kills the ignition.. correct me if im wrong..

    cannot pull codes from ek

Ok, so before I swapped my ecu's around, I had a 99 civic si ecu that I used and I can pull codes from. Now, after I put in my 94 gsr ecu in, I cannot pull any codes or even have the code reader to connect with the ecu nomore. I checked the fuses and it looks good. Have anybody encountered...

94 gsr ecu vs the 99 civic si ecu

ahhvtec: so what i'm getting from you is that the reason why my motor was running so crappy was that the si's ecu had more sensors that it's looking for vs the gsr ecu.. another question would be what sensors was the si looking for on the obd1 b18c1? thanks

94 gsr ecu vs the 99 civic si ecu

So besides it being a obd1 engine and using a obd2b ecu, I am just curious why it was lagging so much. I originally thought it was my msd dizzy, so I bought a 94 oem dizzy and put it in and I still got the same results. That was when I decided to buy a ecu conversion harness and now the motor...

94 gsr ecu vs the 99 civic si ecu

Ok, so I finally got the ecu jumper harness from password jdm and just had it put on. Now my car runs smooth like a champ! Before putting in the obd1 gsr ecu, I was using a obd2b si ecu. My car was running like crap. It felt like I was miss firing all the time whenever I was under 4k rpm. Now...

carfrog: i just replaced the alt and dizzy with brand new si alt and dizzy. i also replaced the gsr injectors with the si injectors and used a si engine harness since my chassis is already a obd2b vtec too. question: where do i find a decent jumper harness? ebay has them and it varies from...

94 gsr motor in a 99 ek coupe

i have a virgin p28 and a p72 ecu. they're both obd1. if that's the case, i will need to buy a conversion harness and which ecu should i use? btw, i am using a 99 si civic engine harness, dizzy, and alternator. that wouldn't make a difference too, right?

94 gsr motor in a 99 ek coupe

Ok, so I have the 99 civic coupe and I just recently swapped a 94 gsr engine into it. I am using a 99 si ecu. I am getting a cel code for my crank shaft position sensor. Where exactly is it located at and how do I go about fixing this problem? I know that there are a few sites that have similar...
