    ***CODE 21 on a P13***

Before you do ANYTHING else, you need to triple check the wiring. Check continuity from the vtec pin on the ECU plugs all the way to the solenoid. Resistance should be less than 1 ohm to the solenoid plug. Any more = problem. Bad VSS will cause no vtec unless you are running HEAVILY modified...

    EGT Probe/Gauge

EGTs are very tricky for beginners to use for tuning - they're more useful as a warning that something is going seriously wrong with the tune (i.e. really high EGTs). Unlike AFRs (95+% determined by injector pulsewidth) from a wideband, there are many factors that influence EGTs which often...

    ***CODE 21 on a P13***

dbl triple check wiring. code 21 is perfectly valid for all vtec ECUs, P13 included.

    Hondata or No Hondata

This discussion is funny. :) Let's face it - hondata and uberdata are aimed at different "markets." Hondata, by making their datalogging and ROM editor an option as opposed to an integral part of all systems, pitches itself at professional tuners that want to tune cars. The reason for the...

    Fried ECU

I call bullshit. I've connected OBD0 dizzies to OBD1 ECUs before. The car will run, but things are very unhappy. Nothing fries - the ECU receives an incorrect signal and thinks the motor is running much slower I still say you need to check and see if you have +12v at the ECU plugs. I'm...

    Fried ECU

You can't convert an OBD0 distributor to OBD1 easily. I'm very curious what you did... In order to do this conversion properly, you need to take apart the distributor and swap the 16 tooth OBD1 reluctor for a 24 tooth OBD1 reluctor... Having the wrong reluctor wheel for CKP will cause car to...

    wideband O2

I love my M300... 40+ cars tuned with it already, on sensor #3 (race gas kills em very quickly, FYI, but at $42 per sonsor who gives a fuck?) And FYI, I got mine from Jayson @ Forced-Air a little cheaper than that...

**Best eCu for an H22** PART II

I've tuned 3 H22s in the past 2 months. One was a stock USDM H22. One was a stock JDM H22. One was a USDM H22 with Type S pistons 2 / 3 used P28s. One used a P72. One of the two P28s was modified to control IABs too. The other two cars had either Skunk2 or Euro-R manifolds that lacked IAB...

    dizzy help

what are you trying to do? 88-91 Si, HF, LS/GS integra distributors are electrically compatible. If you're trying to make an OBD0 LS distributor from an OBD1 LS distributor, you need to swap the 24 tooth OBD1 CKP reluctor wheel for the 16 tooth OBD1 wheel - the other sensors are compatible.

    P28 ECU Questions

yes. Either disable vtec in software or use a non-vtec program. You'll need an OBD1 dizzy obviously - believe a DX will bolt to A6 head.

Uberdata with stock maps ? p28

you're fine to use a P28 with a D15B. All honda code is somewhat "reliable" otherwise they'd have massive recalls on their ECUs. If you want datalogging an tuning capabilities, you kinda have to restrict yourself to what the editors support well.

Uberdata with stock maps ? p28

    1. Use the latest unofficical release (1.70) version if you want reliable datalogging. 2. If you want to import the P08 stuff into P72, download a P08 bin from the PGMFI Wiki. I'd highly recommend you try the "237" code. http://www.pgmfi.org/twiki/bin/view/Librar...DefinitionCodes 3. Do an...
