Hi just playing with a D16Y7 getting the head shaved .080 just wondering how many degrees I should retard the cam? is there any general spec as how many degrees adjustment for material removed

Hi new to Honda power, bought my son a 97 civic to race at the local circle track, it has a D16Y7 engine which runs good but is lacking top end power,I have access to a D17A1 head and was wondering if this is a good swap or what would be a good next step? thanks in advance Roy
