i think the difference between the teg d series and a zc is about 10 hp or something like that, not really worth mentioning for you. i would say go B series, would be sweet in a first gen teg, and i dont think it would be to much different then going B series in an 88-91 civic

it could be the fuel pump going bad, sometimes when they start to go bad they take a while to build up fuel pressure, this could be why it takes a while to start your car when its sat a while. you need good fuel pressure to start the car. hope that helps

when i did it to my civic i had to take off the power steering cooler and lines that go in front of the radiator. and use the b16 power steering pump, because the my d series pump would not mount to the engine, also had to use the teg power steering line that goes from the pump to the power...

are you talking about dohc D and sohc D series engines cuz they are interchangeable, like a zc fuel rail is the same as a d16a6 from a civic or d16a3 from an integra they are all the same

d series fuel rails are all the same... and b series are all the same = B-D fuel rails not interchangeable

first of all. no, B16 and D16 intake manifolds are not the same. bolt patters are different, and no the fuel rails are not the same the injector spacing is different, and the fuel rail mounts are different

on the obd0 dizzy, only 2 of the 3 bolts will line up. im not sure, but everything else should work. but if your getting a complete b18 it should come with one, and if its 90-91 it will work with obd0

ya i had that go bad in my first zc, you have to replace the dizzy or gut the sensor out of one, i think messed up fuel pressure can also make you throw a 4. hope that helps

well not everyone has the $$ to do a b16 swap, i think thats why he was talking about zc or d16a6 stuff, much cheaper and still get SOME benifets

well are you going to just use the head and the dx intake? cuz if thats it you will not really gain that much if any power. but if you plan on using the intake from the si head you will need the complete intake, throttle body, and injectors, you will also need the d16 distributor, and a pm6...

Ludespeed.com used to do the conversion, but it cost alot of $$ because of all the machine work that went into it. I think they stoped doing it because they power gains from it were not worth the cost and work. Anything is possable with enough $$
