    Here's a picture of the distributor on the D15B. UPDATE: Based on the head code and the way the wiring harness appears, I think the full designation of this motor might be the d15z4.     So I kept doing some research. There is a stamp on the right side of the head that shows 98 (which I was reading), but apparently it's the the two circles above the left most exhaust port. When I look at those they show (7) (9|7). I'm assuming that means 97? Also from what I've read OBD2b...

    Bought it from a vendor out in CA, so I would imagine it would be quite difficult to get it back to them. I'm pretty certain the intake and exhaust manifolds will bolt up with no issue (haven't gotten that far yet). Are there any instructions/ guide available for what exactly I need to do in...

    Okay so I've been trying to read up on this for about 2 weeks. I pulled the d16y7 out of the car over the weekend, but now I'm stuck. I bought the motor online from a reputable vendor. They told me (and I've read) that this is a pretty clean swap, but now I'm not sure exactly what that means...
