    Prelude Performance......

Trust me, 5th gens are heavy! Lose as much weight as possible! I'd just start with your basic bolt ons like everyone is saying and go from there. Have you checked out www.preludeonline.com? Is yours the SH or base? Anyway good luck! :) Base Prelude weight: (Man.) 2954lbs. (auto)...

    H22 swap

Hey james105! If you want to keep it carbed, you can try the JDM 3rd gen Accord engine. It's the B18A (dual carbed with DOHC) rated @ 130hp. It's EXTREMELY HARD to find though. Most people on 3geez have done the JDM 3rd gen Accord B20A though (injected DOHC) rated @ 160hp and 140tq. Again...

    Women 101

To me, this woman needs her space, like many have stated. I mean she's working and going to school full time.....she will be stressed out at some time or another. I'm in that same situation. I really don't want my boyfriend to see me when I'm stressed out, he's the same way, (but he doesn't...

Basic Prelude & Prelude SH headers?

Sorry! The SH and base headers are different. The SH is approx. 4in. longer. I do believe there is a difference in the 97-98 and 99-01 headers. I checked it out. It's an ongoing topic @ preludeonline.com. I've just heard the 99-01's are slightly better.

    H22 type S

Yeah, the Type S has the 220hp. I know it has different pistons and maybe longer cams?, not sure. And some speculate that the rings are the same as the USDM motor. I just know the pistons are different.

    3rd gen accord

Can this be FAQed? B20/16-easy B18C1-slightly difficult Just a B-series, and you'll be fine. Again, check out http://www.3geez.com site., under Engine Swaps.

Basic Prelude & Prelude SH headers?

There is NO difference in the headers on the base and SH models. The 97-98 headers are slightly different than the 99-01's. It refers to that argumentable question: Where did that 5 extra hp came from in the 99-01's?

    H22

Man this question is popular. FAQed? You can do it, but you are carbed plus the H22 will have to be custom done. In other words, A LOT OF MONEY!! And you have to convert to a fuel-injected engine first! (at least $1100 right there and it is a bitch to do!) The B18C1 is less of a hassel to...

    99 prelude

Humm...that seems too good to be true. Automatic, stick, or SH? 41k on 99? That's wonderful! We bought a 2000 w/ 55k for 14k and they wanted 18K for it! Something has to be wrong with it. KBB says 15,490 for the base model 99 w/ 41k. Cloth was stock on all 5th gen Preludes. Lots of...

    H22 swap

Yeah, the H22 is possible just LOTS OF CUSTOMIZING. Plus you have a carb....not worth it (Believe me, I know....same car). Get a weber. Cheaper and easier to install. The B18C1 has been done. Still, hard as hell to install. http://www.3geez.com/: 86-89 Accords, tells ya anything you need...

    1989 accord lx f20

You have an A20a1 (Lx's/Dx's)-I have the same car (an LX) for 4 years now-the daily driver. The A20a3's are in the Lxi's/Sei's. I know, having a carb sucks! As far as swapping goes, the only possible swaps that are "easy" are the B20/18/16's. I think you also have to convert to a whole...
