I used Arias in an NA application once and didnt have problems with those earlier.... every company is going to have islated mishaps but for the most part...

    i think for $6-8k youd be better off buyin a blown or hydrolocked motor and completely rebuilding it to your specs.... my boy got a hydrolocked H22 for $20, put golden eagle godzilla sleeves(o-ringed), full race rods, wiseco endyn rollerwave pistons, ferrea stainless oversized valves and besides...

    the tranny wiring is the only hard part but i believe u can use an auto tranny from a 93 which doesnt use the computer control module.....

    I believe the 91 LS was a b18a... the b1 was from 94-95 in obd1 and 96-01 which is obd2.... to use the B1 in your car all you need is mounts from a 99-00 si and it will bolt right in and plug n play.... only wires you dont connect are vtec (of course)......
