how hard is it to replace the thermostat yourself ?

my 93 delsol doesn't warm up to operating temperature as fast as it used to . ?? anyone has an idea why? It takes almost 15 miles of driving to get it to warm up to normal temp where it used to take about 2-5 miles. thanks.
