dont forget to reverse the two outer wires on the tps... otherwise the ecu will think the engine is at full throttle when its idling and vice versa... just throwing that out there...
by far the easiest is the zc swap... you can get the dohc zc with tranny for pretty cheap... bolts right in and uses the std harness with a little modification but not much... anyway i love mine...
if you use the zc tranny you will also need the zc intermediate shaft and 86-89 teg axles(not...
ive scoured the net looking for a pic of the a1 in the engine bay... the mount is different... if you have zc stamped on your block that is a different story...
no the zc is not the d16a1... the mounts are different... just ante up and get the real deal from japan... oh and you need a std or dx harness to make the swap as easy as possible...
