My 94 civic dx has a really erratic idle. I was told it is because my intake and exhaust are too big for my engine. I was also told that advancing my timing would solve this? Does this sound correct? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

im having problems with my dx. whenever i start it a belt squeals really loud, i think it might be the alternator belt because i have no ac or power steering and until the engine warms up it squeals and revs up and down. if i have any accessories on like heat or rear defrost it sqeals or revs...

my shitty little D15 in my 94 civic idles bad when it isn't warmed up for a while. It revs up a little and drops continuously. Anyone with an idea what's wrong?

Anyone have personal experience with liking the ls tranny over the gsr for a b20 swap with a turbo in the near future? I already have a good GSR tranny with low miles on it but my friend is telling me to get an LS instead because its geared better for the engine. Sound accurate? Thanks guys.

not positive, but i think you need them from an eg hatch or coupe because they have the same size door, sedans are smaller.

everything on that 2001 civic is carbon fiber. The whole interior trim, seat fabric, exterior...everything.

to answer your first question, yes, there is a civic reskinned in carbon fiber: http://www.hirevtuners.com/site/preshowseg...D=100&PreID=118 I saw it on tv, the guy works for Fiber Images, so you can imagine how much cheaper it was for him and how much experience he has.

we swapped a b20b (8.8 comp.) into my buddies del sol and are getting ready to turbo with most likely a drag 3 t3/t04e setup. he found a good deal on a venom intake manifold bored to 70mm, fuel rail, and bbk 70mm throttle body. just wondering if anyone has a venom manifold and your opinions on...
