    TPS interchangable

I'm having an erratic idle problem and sometimes stalling. I read the article on how to fix it and point 1 says to switch the TPS with your old one. I want to know if my 96 d16y7 TPS will fit on my 98 b18c1? By the way, I unplugged my IACV last night and it stalled. I tried restarting the car...

GSR alternator w/ 96 DX wiring harness

I'm swapping a 98 GSR into my 96 DX coupe. I've run into a problem with the wiring harness. The GSR alternator requires a 3-pin clip and my DX wiring harness has a 4-pin clip. Has anyone else run into this problem? Which wires would I have to splice if I got a GSR alternator clip?

Ram air for B18C1 in EK coupe

Just wanted to know which ram air I would be able to fit on my B18C1 once it was dropped into my 96 coupe. I'm probably going to go with one for an SI, because I'm unsure if an Integra ram air will fit. I just need confirmation.

    Engine mount?

For my GSR swap into my 96 Civic DX, I know I need to get a Si rear tranny mount and a top left bracket from an Si also. But for the front tranny mount, does it have to be from a GSR or can it be from any 94+ Integra?

    IAB vacuum tank

The tank was there, but shouldn't there be some kind of clip to support it? The guy I bought the engine from had a Skunk2 IM on it before I bought it. When he sold it to me, he put the stock IM, I guess he forgot to take the clip off of the Skunk2 manifold. I'll see if he still has it, otherwise...

    IAB vacuum tank

I'm swapping a 98 b18c1 into my 96 civic dx, I just wanted to know where I should mount the Intake Air Bypass vacuum tank? Right now the tank is hooked up to the diaphram and the manifold, but it's just dangling there. For those who have done this swap, where have you mounted it?

    Drive axle for GSR swap

I'm about to swap a 98 B18C1 into my 96 dx. I was wondering if I could use drive axles from an Integra RS or even a Civic Si? Or do I absolutely need GSR drive axles?

    O2 sensor?

That's ok, the RS cat has a spot for the secondary O2 sensor. I was just worried for the primary O2. On GSRs it is on the cat and on Type-Rs and the other lower trims its on the downpipe. Thanks for the info. BTW how would I put it on the downpipe? I was told to take a nut that fits onto the...

    O2 sensor?

I have a 98 GSR swap that I'm about to put into my 96 Civic. The only problem is that I don't have the catalytic converter and I'm having a lot of trouble finding one. I know that on the GSR cat, the two O2 sensors are installed directly on the cat. Since I'm having so much trouble finding...

    Tachometer problem

The car runs fine actually. I'm seriously thinking it's the tach that's just broken, the wire is well connected in the distributor, the ground is fine, and there's current in both the power source wire and the ignitor wire. I'll get a new tach soon, it's not a big problem, it's just annoying...

    Tachometer problem

I have a 96 Civic DX and the other day my tach just died. It's at zero and hasn't moved since then. I checked the wiring for the power source going into the gauge cluster, that was fine. Then I checked the tachometer signal wire (blue wire going to ignition control module) and there was voltage...

    Preventing CEL codes

Damn... What might happen if I do this, I'm just worried that I'll spend all that extra money and there still might be CEL codes. Here's a pic of what I had in mind. Diagram This is what my system currently looks like. Diagram 2

    Preventing CEL codes

If the engine that I'm swapping into my car requires more control units than my car actually has (e.g. evap canister vent shut valve, bypass solenoid valve), can I connect a jumper wire from a power source on the ECU to that control units pin to prevent it from throwing codes? I'd make sure the...

Matching P72 ECU w/ GSR engine

Would the 96-97 number be different? Because there aren't any evap components plugged into the ecu. 96-97 models don't have them. EDIT: By being a different number I mean the last 3 digits (e.g. A03). These are the digits that I want to know which ones would be associated with a 96 or 97 GSR.

    96-97 P72

Is it true that 96-97 GSRs don't have any wires going into A28 (bypass solenoid valve), A29 (vent shut valve), and D15 (fuel tank pressure sensor). If it's the case it will save me a lot of trouble when I'll be doing my swap from my 96 Civic DX. These are pictures from Acura of a 96 GSR. I...
