i was outside today and notice that my temperature gauge wasn't workin' at all. i never really looked at it except for today because i changed the oil. what could possibly be causing my gauge from working
but thanks for the advice. i'll check them all out tomorrow. but if anyone comes up with more possible explainations why it won't start please add it to the forum. i usually check back every 20minutes
thanks. i'll go take it out right now. it only takes five minutes then 117dollars for a new alternator if needed but its almost chrismas so i kno i'll get the money right back
the way i told that it wasn't my alternator was i removed the positive cable off the battery while the car was running. the alternator would have killed the car if it wasn't holding a charge
everytime i go to start my car i have to jumpstart my car. sometimes i get lucky and there is enuff juice in the battery to start it. and it a new battery. anyone have a clue. its not the alternator either i had it checked
sorry the reason they call the 86-87 and 88-89 integra engine zc's because they are people just don't really care to know about this one 2nd gen zc. they even tell you it's a zc on this web site
i know of three or maybe four types of zc engines. one was produced from 84-87 and came in the jdm civic si and. second was the brown valve cover zc which came in the 86-87 usdm integra. the third was a black valve cover zc which came in the 88-89 usdm integra. and there was a 3rd generation zc...
I was wondering if anyone had heard of this engine mod for civics with EW blocks. my friend said they call it the zeus conversion (2nd generation zc cylinder head {from a 86-89 integra}and Stock EW block=ZewC). if anyone has any info on this swap it would be great. :D
