Hi All,

Sorry for the huge downtime this weekend.

The raid controller in our server blew up, and when it did, it took out the file system on the 4 drives in the array.

I've replaced the controller card and all 4 drives with new units, and have restored all backups.

Just our luck, this happened at 530 am sat, when the HS nightly backup is running.

Thus, I had to revert us to our weekly backup, which last run 4/14, for hondaswap. All other sites on the server had good previous night back ups (4/18)

so, there will be missing posts I'm afraid

Also, if you're new and registered after 4/14, you will likely have to re-register. Not too too bad considering the huge problem this was to fix.

sql injection wasn't the problem. in fact, we're pretty secure against that.

this was straight hardware issues. guess that's what i get for using a dell server :X

I just bought three Hondas, so I am back from my three year honda absence. What have I missed?

Oh and the three hondas I mention are motorcycles. I am amidst my cafe racer project right now.

Glad to see this is still going.

That's what you get for running Dells. I bought a mini9 for the wife- cried a bit, then categorized it in my head as "disposable" and felt better.

I have a dell server.

I'm not sure what to use it for, but it sure runs windows 7 well. I don't know what I can use it for even still, but it's quiet. lol.

heh, i don't really have a choice. i just picked specs, and the datacenter throws it in whatever 'case' they have a 2u space available in with a board that supports the procs and ram.
