i am in the process of buying a 00 d16 with 32000 miles. i want ls/turbo but this will have to work for now. anyway is 00 odb1 or 2??? what all will i need to do the swap. i bought engine tranny and ecu

you will need to convert your harness over to work and add all the wires for VTEC
i wouldnt bother
just keep your money and save till you can get the B series swap done

well i have to buy a new tranny anyway, and my engine has been messing up alot. i had my mechanic looking at it and he said i must have got the only honda motor that wont last 3000000000000000 miles. lol i have 170000 on mine. i found this swap for 620 shipped so i figured what the hell. and i had a moron offer me 300 for my d15. i guess he thinks he can rebuild it. but im not gonna argue
