Mine has a pattern of holes in the middle of it (I am guessing to remove weight) while other OEM flywheels are solid.
Look at yours....mine is a K20A but I am pretty sure your B-series Type R has holes too.
How light is that flywheel? There is something to be said for the weight in terms of centrifugal force.
I noticed a difference (old B-swap) when I changed to a 12lb wheel.
It rev'd up a lot faster (especially in neutral)
Obviously a lower torque motor than yours but it seemed weak when going from one gear to the next.
The release and pop (i.e. 2nd into 3rd at high rpm) feel wasn't as strong in comparison to the OEM one.
