0w-20

i was talking to a buddy of mine who is an amsoil dealer and i thought about trying the stuff out once but they do not produce a full synthetic 5W-20 but they say that 0W-20 works interchangeably with 5W-20. i was wondering if anyone has used 0W-20 in their civic it doesn't have to be amsoil. is there any disadvantages to using 0W-20. would this void any warranties on the drive train.

I haven't heard any bad things about the stuff, although its very expensive, its more expensive then mobile1 synthetic
