    got codes
    1)oxygen content
    4)Crank angle sensor
    8)TDC
    17)vehicle speed sensor

these are what i have been told the codes are for.

the only symptom of the codes so far are that the car wont hold idle on occasions i always have to keep givin it a lil gas to keep it alive

i just replaced my distributer about 800 miles ago with a brand new one, could it have gone bad already or is it my engine thats screwing up the distributer?

and i have no idea where the rest of these sensors are.

4 and 8 sound like you have bad timing. chack that your timiung belt is aligned properly and not off a tooth.

that can lead to a bad 02 reading

vss- well, thats totally unrelated. probably wired wrong, or a bad sensor

put motor at TDC and check marks on crank pulley and cam gears.

well i just reset the ECU and all the codes went away and the engine runs perfectly fine now, i'm thinkin that the codes were left over from previous problems when my other distributer went bad the place prolly didnt think to reset the ECU

could be. drive it for a little, and see if they come back.

always re-set the ecu after tinkering :)
