1.6 dohc zc oil leak location???????

    whats up i have a 91 civic si with dohc 1.6 zc engine swap in it.There is a oil leak somewhere near the cam gears because the cam gears are throwing oil on the hood what do you think maybe the valve cover gasket or cam seals,oil pump.any help would be highly appreciated,thanks jason

    pic would be very helpful. i am assuming oil underhood. Okay let's see is it a big leak or a small leak. the cam seal is small and not major. the valve cover leaks around top of head now oil pump crankshaft seal would be the point. Because the all the oil is in the crankcase and as oil pressure is built up it made travel inside belt and spill on hood. WE NEED PICS!! ;)

    Check your grommets on the valve cover by the cams. if it has oil around it that could be one source. if oil is in the middle of the hood then your valve cover gasket is probably no good. you should also change the dist seal and knock seal
