10 ohm capacitors p28 chipping???

capacitors 103 ceramic type in location C51 and C52 ,now why are these optional and what are they for?

since when do caps have ohm ratings. i thought they were measured in farads....

There optional because theres some what of a redundantcy build in to are ECUs.

that would be a .01uF cap

not exactly sure why they are optional.
