    Hey all,
I have a civic eg 94 with original rims 14" and 175/65 tires on.
The road handling on this car isn't that good so, will changing the rims to 15" and 195/55 tires make any difference to the handling?

Will the acceleration of the car decrease after the rim change?

    If they're heavier....then they're heavier

They'll be heavier unless you buy lightweight 15s. But, if your getting a lot of wheel spin now that wider contact patch and more rotational mass may make it hook up better.

    ^^ true

    I had 185 60 R14 (del sols) and switch to 15 inch LS mesh with 205 50 R15
I need to launch way higher now in order to get a decent rpm when it hooks up.

if i'll take 195/50 tires, the overall radius of the wheel will be smaller.
    Is that ok?
