Soon I will be swapping my gsr motor from my current rust bucket, into a nice, clean chassis. Previously I was running a dx radiator, and had some cooling issues in city driving. The chassis comes with a del sol dual core radiator. I was wondering if a JRSC 160 degree thermostat will be "safe" for my motor. I know that my stock one is 190 degrees, and I'm sure Honda has a reason for that. Are there any downsides to running a 160 degree thermostat?

Also, I was planning on picking up a Hondata intake manifold gasket. Are they worth it?
