Bwahahah. So I needed new tires. I decided that I also needed new wheels.

Pics up later doods. (that's why it's not in media... yet. I'm sure someone will move it once I get pics up. probably Mike lol)

so what kind did you get?

what kind of car?

and how much were they?

edit: and 18's are good for performance, nice grip on the road

nice.
2nd gear on tranny is good till like sixty-something so you don't even have to shift into third driving around town.

Yeah- the 18s grip the road pretty well because there's not any tire to do it with. :p

Probably till this summer. Still taking offers tho.

That, and it's hard for a 30lb wheel to lose traction

Shut up Nate. :p

These are actually lighter than my old 17s :p

I'll have pics today.

Wow. You must have had solid chrome billet no spoke 17s or something if your 18s are lighter. :p

PICS!

Actually they were old Motegi MR12s (discontinued) with heavyass cheap rubber on em. Felt like they were made of fuckin cast iron or somethin. I'll have pics today dammit. I'm at work right now.

LOL, Motegis are so heavy. I had 16" MR7's on my Accord and each wheel weighed 20lbs. In comparison, my Speedy Lite 6's are 16lbs in a 17".

But as long as it looks good :)

OK, took some pics. Weather sucks here right now so the car's dirty as fuck.

For good measure, my new VIS hood which I got out of the insurance dealy.

EDIT: OK, Mike, do your thing!

EDIT: For those who will ask, future plans include window tint and removing the wing.

usually I have the back seat up, which effectively conceals it inside the trunk. I had to put my old wheels in the car tho so I put the back seat down.

Oh ok. Nice car though, man. the wing actually doesnt look that bad on it, but yea take it off. I love the widebody, it looks really clean.

Only for you... I should just lock the thread because it's in the wrong forum. :p

On the other hand- it's a very clean install job on everything, but I think there are too many strong straight lines and flat surfaces on a car that was the curviest Civics to come out of a Honda factory.
