I ordered a set of 195/50/15 series tires from tirerack.com for 37 bucks a piece. There for my si wheels that I have on my Integra. I got an e-mail from TireRack.com and they said that it will mess up my speedometer and it might mess up my brakes. If so how much will the speedometer be off by? Also will it mess up my brakes? Help greatly appreciated.

i entered the OEM tire size and the 195/50/15 size into a tire size calculator and here is what it came up with:

Tire Size Comparison

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
195/55-15 4.2in 11.7in 23.4in 73.7in 860 0.0%
195/50-15 3.8in 11.3in 22.7in 71.2in 889 -3.3%

according to that chart, your speedo will be off -3.3% so if it reads 100mph, you are really only going 96.7mph.

i dont know how/if that will affect the ABS system but I have heard that it can mess it up.

Im going from 195/65/15 to 205/50/15, how messed up is my car going to be? Its just the same stock rims on azenis

That's a HUGE difference... you might want to rethink your tire size.

Shit, thats what I thought, so I guess I'm just gonna use those tires till I can get a nice set of wheels and tires (205/45/17), then sell the tires to my friends or somethin for like 150.

Looks like you could try 215/60/15- that seems to be a good fit. I don't know if they make Azenis in that size though.

For 17 inch wheels, 225/45/17 is actually a much better fit than 205/45/17, but I don't know if you would have rubbing problems with that. 205/50/17 is also a perfect fit. I'm sure you could get that.
