1985 rx-7 gsl?

How hard is it to turbo charge this car? I think it has the 13b engine.??????:

I believe they were also carbureted, if I remember correctly. You'd have to change it over to fuel injection if it is, unless you like engine fires and stuff.

the only 13B for the fist gen RX7 was in the GSL-SE (84-85) and was fuel injected... the rest of the first gens ran the 12A and yes they are carbureted

ok it is a 1985 gsl. going to have them make sure its fuel injected

if its not a GSL-SE then its not fuel injected

the GSL is not fuel injected, and also runs the 12A not the 13B

i used to have a fc, dude you don't need a turbo to make that car scary fast. maybe you should just get a turbo fc. or do a complete swap. around here many shops won't work on rotaries at all.

I bought an FC recently. It's NA, and fun as hell to drive. I wouldn't bother trying to turbo it, because that's when you'll annihilate your apex seals. Drop in an LS1 and be done.
