any d series would bolt right in without having to get new mounts a zc engine is cheap and good power for the amount it costs

not much check out the ZC for most swaps you will have to do the MPFI swap, which is not that hard... crxpower.com has an excellent guide on how to do it, it is in the forums under how to... with the zc you can use you stock mounts, but the DX tranny has a weak final gear, i would recomend putting an 88-91 si final gear in your tranny or getting an 88-91 si tranny for the swap. you will have to change your ecu for most swaps, but it is not that big of a deal to do.
Good Luck and if you have any questions PM me i have an 89DX and i am in the process of an MPFI swap.
