1994 Accord/1997 Civic H22 Swap

Hey everyone,

I have a 1994 Honda Accord that was swapped to an H22a. I got hit last week and it was totaled. I picked up a 97 Civic shell that I want to put my motor in. Mounts are on the way and so are axles. My question is:

My motor is OBD 1. My Ecu from my Accord is OBD 1. Can I swap my h22 into the civic and use the OBD 1 ecu from my accord? Basically I want to be able to just put everything in the EK and go. I want to keep everything OBD 1 also.

If your planning on using the obd2 engine & sub harness from your new vehicle your going to need a jumper harness for the obd1 ecu. My recommendation check out rywire.com

Correct you need an OBD1 to OBD2 adapter
