1995 EX Motor Swap Help

Im replacing the motor in a 95 Civic EX 2 door. The motor and transmission im going to be swaping with a new running motor. What can anyone tell me to help? I was told its not to difficult to do on my own just wondering what kind of tips and steps you guys suggest. Thanks.

So are you swapping in a different motor, or just a stock replacement?

Im going to be putting in a stock replacement, motor and transmission.

stock replacement is nice and easy.

Ive heard that it is easier to drop the motor out the bottom then pull it out the top. Is this true?

with a soch just remove the hood. youd be fine that way.
