Some modifications to be made yet, me (235lbs) and my friend (240lbs) in the car made it rub, but when I drove it by myself there were no issues, I'm going to roll the fenders a bit

So tonight I did a quick 0-60 race against my friend with the 240sx (intake, exhaust, mild suspension upgrades) and my stock F22a1 held him even. We couldnt get away from eachother. Even if I'm going to be slow, it's nice to have friendly competition on the same level. I'm getting used to the coils, and theyre not as bad as I thought they were.

F22a1 in my Prelude is only good for 135hp and I have no boltons or performance mods. Combination of driver mod + the hyper efficient Honda gearbox. We're going to the local drag strip on the 25th with the whole crew at which we'll settle the 240 vs 8th gen Civic vs Prelude vs Nissan Versa Note (the slow squad)

Well, I still haven't gotten a ticket and I gotta figure some of that is being slow. When my brother was my age he was dangerously close to losing his license

Same for me. Daily driving an automatic 2000 Civic sedan. The thing is slow as balls, and it keeps me out of trouble. Eibach springs make it fun enough to where I don't hate driving it.

Landed an EK Coupe (I think 96-98 style) nuked in the front end with a clean rear and interior. Should be able to flip some parts and get some more stuff for the Prelude. Car still runs good, but oh boy is it slow. So slow. It hurts.

So after a lot of research, a way to make the Prelude kind of faster without doing a swap became evident. I talked to a performance shop I'm friendly with and they actually had the parts to make it happen and sold them to me very cheaply.

I discovered it's not uncommon to use DSM parts to boost a F22. This was predominantly done on Accords, specifically the Cb7 chassis. It should be good for anywhere from 180-220whp and the part I really like is commonly the torque often matches the whp and it has a nice, even power curve without a high redline. It won't make it unreasonably fast, and it won't break the bank either. I'm hoping to take what I learn from this and apply it to future projects.

Why not? I mean, if he's not looking to build a beast, then I don't see why it's a waste. It's a fairly stout motor that can take mild boost pretty well in stock form. I used to have an Accord back in the day, and lots of guys would rig up cheap turbo setups to get them up to 200 wheel horse and torque. More power than an H22, and can be done for the same price or cheaper.

It’s gotta be better than a Kia Rio, right?

A waste of time would be spending more money on a swap to have less power

Contacted Cuba 2ning today who was recommended to me by a tuner I really like that's based out of South FL. I've seen his work and I know a couple guys (including an Integra with a SRT4 swap) that he's done work for. And he's willing to tune off a chipped P28, which I already have.
    Next steps...
    wastegate actuator for my turbo
Port the 1g Talon manifold out and redrill holes for f22 block
    Injectors/Fuel Pump
Boost Controller b/c the 14b has an internal wastegate and I'm just going to roll with that
    Intercooler
    All the piping
And then hopefully I'll be good to go.
EDIT: I'd just like to add that's a parts list based on my own research, not the tuner.
